Lillian joined BMO GAM having spent the last 15 years in wealth management at various firms in sales, sales management and National Accounts. Her most recent experience was with a Canadian alternatives manager to help educate and foster a passion for alternatives investing. Her primary focus lies in helping drive the growth of Alternatives in Wealth Management by partnering with BMO Private Wealth to raise awareness and build advocacy for the use of Alternatives. Within BMO Asset Management, Lillian partners with both the Distribution team to further expand the reach of Alternatives and the National Accounts team to accelerate product approvals across all major dealers. Lillian is recognized as a leader in Canadian Alternatives with deep experience and demonstrated success.
Traditionally, private markets and other Alternative exposures have been limited to pension plans and institutional investors. However, shifting dynamics in public markets, elevated uncertainty and enhanced product design, have accelerated the democratization of Alts to a broader pool of accredited investors.
