Hamish has more than 25 years of experience working in financial markets. He started his career as a foreign exchange dealer with one of largest institutional banks in New Zealand, followed by 13 years working in fixed income sales and trading, including seven years focused on high yield bond trading, comprised of market making and the primary issuance of debt.
He joined BMO Global Asset Management in July 2018, helping advisors discover both mutual fund and ETF solutions to help build their business. His experience and knowledge of the markets and close collaboration with his extended team allows him to support advisors in growing their wealth businesses. Hamish holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration and completed several investment industry courses.
